Computer are a boon for personnel administrator as it handles routine jobs automatically and with efficiency.
They are helpful for word processing, Internet communications, digital/audio compositions and also desktop publishing.
The computer is definitely a valued piece of technology that has worked its ways into many homes and businesses around the world.
The information-processing capabilities of computers have added to their usage.

Education:-
Computer are is being improved the education system and modifie the institute.
Computer Aided Learning (CLA) has made computer popular amongest learner.
Teachers can use audio video aids through computer to prepare lesson plans.
This will be interesting and easy to learn for students.
today, students can fill their application forms and gives their exam online is do that with the help of computer.
and several uses of computer is education system ,computer is also huge subject to learn.

Business:-
Almost every business uses computers to complete daily tasks. it is used in  different types of business to store a large amount of
information in form of databases.computers allow businesses a more efficient way to manage affairs when compared to
traditional paper and manila folders.
buyer and sellers can conduct busines online through the uses of computer and internet.

Medical:-
Computer are playing a vital role in field of medical.Computers have become an essential part of every hospital.
From doing basic things such as storing the details of patients, to more specific applications such as
open heart surgeries, X-rays, clinical tests, etc., everything is now computerized.
These machines help in carrying out these tasks and medical procedures much more efficiently and effectively.

Law and order:-
The use of computers in law enforcement has changed and developed rapidly, especially in recent years.
Computers are used to hold databases of information, to run sophisticated software that can recognize faces or
identify fingerprints and to connect to the Web, an avenue for communication and a rich source of intelligence.
As well as desktop computers, law enforcement personnel also use mobile devices, such as laptops and tablets, to do their job.
computer are also being used to much fingerprints and make sketch of the criminal based on their physical characteristics as specified by the witnesses.

 Banking:-
 Banks have largely been benefited by the use of computer. Through online banking, the users or customers can transfer and receive money by using computer and internet.
Computers allow banks to provide ATM services, online banking, speedier transactions and accurate tracking and verification of funds.
They also make banking institutions more secure through enhanced security and surveillance setups.

Limitation of computer.

Computer have no self intelligence, no decision-making power or no learning power of there own.
Its get through the instruction that are given the computer, that it caries out its task.
Actually this is not the computer which has done this but the users. despite its various features,

A computer does have the some limitation:-

• It is not possible to communicate with computer using normal conversation language.
  
• They possess limited intelligence.
  
• They cannot take understand decision because of program software limitation.
  
• For each step to be performed by the computer, instruction are required.
  
• They have extremely limited ability by experience.

The every uses of thing is has a special character, same as the computer has also some special character's the some character's are bellow mentioned:-

1. Speed:- Modern computer are operate with very high speed, the computer is an electronic devicesv its internal speed is virtually instantaneous(happening immediately, without any dela). he can execute several million instruction in just a second.
The speed of computer is calculated in MHz(megahertz),that is,one million instruction per second and the present, a powerful computer can perform billion operation in a second.

2. Accuracy:- The computer physical processing circuits rarely makes errors. if the correct data and instruction are fed in, the computer gives correct results. The error ,it ever makes, is due to the erroneous data fed into it.

3. Vessatility:- It means the capacity to perform completely different type of work. You may use your computer to prepare payroll slips. Next moment you may use it for inventory management or to prepare electric bills.

4. Diligence:-A Computer can work for long hours with the same accuracy and speed because it is free from problems of boredom or lack of concentration. it can keep on calculating the net salary of thousand of employees of a company without showing any signs of fatigue.

5. Automation:-No human intervention is required, once the instruction and data are given . the CPU follows these instruction until its meets the last instruction which says -- stop program execution.

6. Storage Capacity:- Storage capacity is another big characteristic of a computer. A computer can store large amount of data. This data can be used at any time and also from any location. The storage capacity of a computer is measured in MB, GB, TB.

7. Intelligence:-Computers don’t have any intelligence of their own. They follow a set of instructions fed into them by manufacturer. The user knows what to do and when to perform a specific task.

What is computer ? 
The computer world make with English world compute that's  the mean of calculation..,In the past computer used for only calculation, and this device name is "abacus an abacus is a mechanical device used to assist a person in performing mathematical calculations and counting".

But on the date  computer is not a only computing devices. is mucher than that.
now we do with computer use for make document, E-mail sending, listing and veiwing audio and video, game playing, database prepration and many more works.

 And the most common defition of computer is "the  Computer is an electronic      device that is designed to work with Information. The term computer is   derived from the Latin term ‘computare’, this means tocalculate or programmable machine. Computer can not do anything without a Program". 

The softwear and heardwear are two modes of computer's
Softwear:- the terms of softwear is used in code of programs, we see that only not touch it.
heardwear:-the term of heardwear is a physical part of system we touch it.
